Chocolate chips cookies

This Chocolate chips cookies recipe  is my kids favourite. We bake often in my house and this chocolate chips cookie recipe  is one of our fast dessert .It is easy to make and it doesn’t take time at all. Usually I make a big portion of dough , I bake few for my family and the rest I freeze it for the next  batch of baking . It is crunchy on the outside , chewy inside and it has a loads of chocolate chunks.  This chocolate chips cookies its a perfect match for a cup of coffee, tea or a cup of hot chocolate.

Ingredients for chocolate chips cookies

  • 170 g butter
  • 150 g brown sugar
  • 80 g granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 300 g flour
  • 250 g chocolate chunks
  • 1\2 teaspoon baking soda

Methods

  • In a standing mixer or in a large bowl add the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Mix until you get a creamy consistency.
  • Next ingredient we will add is the eggs. The eggs are essential because they add moisture, flavour, and structure to the cookie dough.
  • To the flour add a pinch of salt, the baking soda and mix everything with the wet ingredients (the eggs, butter, and the sugars). As eggs, flour is also an important ingredient, it acts as an binding agent that holds everything together. When we add the flour is important to not overmix. Mix until everything is incorporated. Overmixing the dough result in a dense, hard cookie.
  • The last ingredient on our list is the chocolate chunks. Mix until the chocolate is evenly distributed in the dough.
  • Let the dough rest for 30 minutes in the fridge.
  • After the resting time form balls of dough, the size of a golf ball and place them on a baking tray.
  • Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 180 Celsius with the option fan on between 8 and 10 minutes.
