Beef Stroganoff

Our Beef Stroganoff features tender strips of beef, sautéed with onions and mushrooms in a creamy, savoury sauce made with sour cream,  and a splash of tangy Dijon mustard.

Served over a bed of buttery egg noodles , fluffy rice or rich mashed potatoes, each bite of our Beef Stroganoff is a journey of savoury indulgence and culinary delight.

Garnished with fresh parsley for a pop of colour and freshness, this dish is sure to satisfy your cravings.

Ingredients:

  • 1 onion
  • 500 g Champignon mushrooms
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 500 g beef steak or beef tenderloin
  • 75 ml white wine
  • 50 ml water
  • 200 ml double cream
  • 80 g sour cream
  • Salt and pepper

Procedure:

  • Start by cutting and preparing the vegetables for the recipe.
  • Also cut the beef into stripes.
  • On a pan over medium heat add oil and start searing the meat. Season the beef stripe with salt and pepper and sear maximum 30 seconds on each side, then set aside.
  • In the same pan sear the champignon mushrooms followed by the onions and the garlic.
  • When the onions are soft and golden add the wine to deglaze the pan.
  • Add the mushrooms and the beef, season everything with salt and pepper then add the double cream, the water or beef stock and the Dijon mustard.
  • Cover the pan with a lid and let everything cook for about 10 minutes for the flavours to develop.
  • At the end , we add sour cream which we need to temper it by stirring a few tablespoons of the warm sauce in to it, then add the tempered sour cream to the pan.
  • Boil the fettuccine and serve warm with a glass of good wine.
  • Enjoy!
