Ingredients:
- 2 onions
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 700 g Champignon mushrooms
- 1 kg of chicken laps
- 70 g butter
- 100 ml white wine
- 250 ml chicken broth
- 150 ml double cream
- Salt and pepper
- Bouquet garni ( bay leaf’s, fresh thyme and rosemary)
Procedure:
- Start the recipe by cutting the vegetables and coat the chicken with wheat flour on both sides.
- In a large pan melt the butter and brown the chicken on both sides. Remove the chicken and place it on a tray.
- In the same pan sauté the onions, then add the mushroom, the garlic and cook everything for 5 minutes for the flavours to develop.
- Return the chicken to the pan, over the mushrooms, then pour the white wine and cook for about 4 minutes or until the wine has been reduced.
- Add the chicken broth, the bouquet garni and let everything simmer and develop flavours for about 20 minutes. The sauce will reduce, and it will thicken.
- The last step to our recipe is to remove the chicken from the sauce, place it on a tray, then add the double cream over the sauce.
- Stir the sauce, return the chicken back to the pan and let everything simmer for 5 minutes or until the sauce starts to thicken.
- Serve warm with fluffy mushed potatoes or rice and a glass of good white wine!
