Baked feta cheese is one of my family favourite appetiser. This recipe is so tasty. It’s savoury, creamy and full of flavours. It became a tradition on Saturday morning to bake feta cheese. Baked sweet peppers and garlic gives a whole different taste to the cheese. For a little heat it can also be used chilli flakes or herbs for flavour.
Ingredients:
- 2 bell peppers
- 5 cherry tomatoes
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 150 g feta cheese
- Salt and pepper
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Pita bread
Methods:
- Cut the bell peppers into stripes , the cherry tomatoes in half and roughly cut the garlic.
- Put the vegetables in a tray , add extra virgin olive oil and season with salt and pepper
- Bake at 180 Celsius for about 15 minutes
- Take the tray out of the oven, crumble the feta cheese and add it on top of the baked vegetables.
- Bake for another 15 minutes at 180 Celsius.
- Serve warm with pita bread or blend it and use it as a deep.
