If you crave something sweet with a intense taste of chocolate try this brownies with ricotta cheese recipe. It is rich, moist, fudge. The ricotta cheese it’s a perfect match for the chocolate and add a fresh taste to the brownie.
Ingredients:
- 150 g butter
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 180 g granulated sugar
- 200 g flour
- A pinch of salt
- 3 eggs
- 1 teasp baking powder
Ingredients for ricotta topping:
- 200 g ricotta cheese
- 80 g sugar
- 1 egg
Methods:
- Start by melting the chocolate and the butter together. It can be done in the microwave or on a water bath.
- Let the chocolate cool down and add the eggs , one at a time and incorporate in the mixture.
- Mix the dry ingredients together which means the flour, salt and the baking powder.
- At the end add the dry ingredients to the chocolate mixture and whisk until everything is incorporated.
- Make the ricotta cheese topping by mixing the cheese with sugar and eggs.
- Use baking paper in a casserole and add the brownie mixture . With the help of a spatula level it and add the ricotta on top.
- With a spoon take chocolate mixture from the bottom and place it on top . This way we obtain a marble aspect inside and on top of the brownie.
- Bake the brownie in a preheated oven at 170 Celsius for 20- 25 minutes.
- Let the brownie cool down and cut it into squares.
- Serve beside ice cream, coffee or tea.
