Whether served as an appetizer, party snack, game nights, or any occasion sweet sticky chicken wings are a crowd-pleaser, offering a delightful explosion of flavors with every bite.These wings are a finger-licking delight that combines the irresistible duo of sweetness and savoury stickiness.
Ingredients:
- Chicken wings 600 g
- Ketchup 250g
- Smoked paprika 1 teasp
- Garlic 3 cloves
- Salt
- Brown sugar 1 tablesp
- Chili flakes 1 teasp
- Sweet paprika 1 teasp
- Vinegar 1 tablesp
- Carrots 2 pieces
- Parsnips 2 pieces
- Beetroots 2 pieces
- Oil
Procedure:
- In a bowl make the barbecue sauce by mixing ketchup with garlic, salt, brown sugar, smoked and sweet paprika, chili flakes and vinegar together, then stir until the condiments are properly mix together.
- Use 2/3 of the barbecue sauce to marinate the chicken wings and place them in the fridge for 30 minutes, for the meat to absorb all the flavours from the barbecue sauce.
- After the chicken wings have been marinated place them on a tray, then bake for 20 minutes at 160 Celsius.
- Use the remaining barbecue sauce to glaze the roasted wings and bake again for 20 minutes at 180 Celsius.
- Cut the vegetables on a mandolin in thin slices and deep fry them until crispy.
- Serve with coleslaw salad and homemade chili sauce.
